Father’s Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in September each year. The tradition was created in 1964 by the Father’s Day Council of Australia, and aims to recognize and honor fathers, father figures and other male role models in Australian families.
Traditionally, Australians give gifts to the fathers in their lives with many families along with a heartfelt handwritten card or breakfast in bed! This year, why not gift Dad a VIP experience and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Scenic Flight over the beautiful Blue Mountains
Spoil Dad with a scenic helicopter fight that will provide spectacular views of the Blue Mountains including the Three Sisters, Katoomba, Magalong Valley, Jamison Valley and the Warragamba Catchment and fly over Sydney Harbour enjoying the view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. There are multiple companies that provide this flight route, and it is an experience not to be missed! Seeing the Blue mountains from above is pretty special.
VIP Wine Tasting
Head to de Beaurepaire for a VIP vineyard “Vigneron Experience”. This is great if Dad is a fine wine enthusiast. The experience includes a guided tour of the vineyard, hosted by a member of the de Beaurepaire family. There are also some great cellar door wine-tasting experiences available.
